SUBCOP exhibited and presented in the Innovation Room of the SRIE (Security Research and Innovation Event) in the Hague
on June 1-2 2016.

Operational use of LLT during suspected suicide bombing attack

The SUBCOP “test and validation event” took place on February 24 2016 at the FOI test fields at Grindsjön. During this event, end users could for example see the protective effects the ballistic protection kit offers towards one of the projects’ defined fragmenting threats, experience firsthand the communication advantages offered by A-WASP and learn about the outcome of the study of existing LLT technologies and risks associated with their use on sensitive homemade explosives such as TATP.

2nd End User Advisory Board (EUAB) was held at the TNO premises in Rijswijk, the Netherlands on June 4th 2015. During this meeting, the EUAB members were updated on the recent progress on research and developments on the SUBCOP tools.
